Product Review: Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm

Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm.

The greatest lip balm of all time!
Oh yes, I sincerely believe that. I have been using this lip balm for more or less 5 years now. Nothing beats it! I, for one, am a lip balm addict. I bought different brands in the past, from the cheap ones, to the overly priced ones, and I still was not content.

There was a time when I was a Burt's Bees user already but I still bought other brands of lip balms, just in case they are better than what I have been carrying around for the longest time. But you see, nothing compares to my ever favorite Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm. There was a time when I have hoarded the latter. I bought a pack of 8, if I am not mistaken. It felt like I was in lip balm-heaven (if there is such thing as that), hahaha!:) The
way it glides on to my lips, the way it gives moisture to my lips, or when you feel the smoothness of the product upon touching it (that is if you have bought the one in the tin can) and the minty feel it gives (literally icy cold or minty or however you want to describe it)--that is what makes it extraordinary. It does give your lips the soothing feeling they truly deserve. This natural lip balm is loaded with coconut and sunflower oils, rich in vitamins and essential fatty acids, to nourish, condition and soften lips. The beeswax seals in hydration. They have also added peppermint oil for a refreshing tingle. I truly believe in its claims. You can really feel that the ingredients are all natural when using one. It does work magically!

I only found my contentment in Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm.
You should try one!

Available in all Beauty Bar outlets for 250PHP.
Take your pick of an old-fashioned yellow tin or a recycled plastic tube.
Enjoy!=)

***I am sure that once you have tried it, you cannot find yourself wanting a different lip balm.:)

Movie Review: Twilight

27th of November, 2008

I just watched Twilight and I am proud to say that I was not disappointed at all. The book was fairly and respectively made into a movie. They skipped only the right things from the book and they added some things that would be of relevance to the sequel. I still felt the magic between Bella and Edward. Although it was deeply romantic in the book and I wanted to see more of that in the film. I thought Edward Cullen was still cute in the movie though I am sure that he is far more gorgeous, overly charming and super duper perfect in the book. It was enough to make my head spin like crazy as I watch him (Robert Pattinson) play Edward Cullen though. He did seem lovely as a vampire. harhar! Bella (Kristen Stewart) was perfect enough for the role as well. I thought she was pretty and she did not fail to show the things that made up Bella Swan.

It does deserve its claim to the NUMBER 1 BOX OFFICE that beat Quantum of Solace. One of scenes that I liked was the part where the Cullen's were playing baseball and the 3 villains came in. I loved that part where James was about to attack Bella and the Cullen's all growled and was in their defensive positions to protect Bella. It was what I had exactly imagined when I read that part in the book. The blocking was just perfect.:) Well of course, the scenes with the lovebirds, Edward and Bella was the ultimate favorite of the crowd. It was enough to make the crowd feel mesmerized.

The movie was superb! BRAVO!*
It gave out tidbits that will make you crave for the sequel and I just can't wait!=)

***For the non readers of the Twilight Saga, it will surely make YOU (yes, YOU!) BUY all the 4 books at once.:))
